After long months of waiting, it has arrived!
I can finally show you a preview of the
The episode of House Hunters international that was filmed in Verona.
It arrived with the mailman in a white envelope, inside a short thank-you letter from the production ( a blatant photocopy of poor quality ) that they probably send to all participants of the shoot, and a CD.
When I think about all the way through that piece of plastic wrapped in bubble wrap, I have to laugh...in 2017, couldn't they have sent me a download link?
Try to think about it:
take an envelope, put a CD-ROM and a piece of paper in it, mail it, have a van take it, which then passes it to a truck, which then gets on the plane, which then arrives in Italy, where another truck takes it to the sorting center, which gives it to a van, which in turn transports a mail carrier, which then arrives at my place?
Well, anyway it came.
2 months after release ( they said four weeks, but you can tell they like to be kept waiting ).
In the end, I am not as excited as I would have liked, partly because I have already seen the episode. My American friends filmed the airing of the program with their cell phones and then uploaded it to Youtube and sent it to me.... bad audio/video quality but spoilers assured!
And then let's face it: so many stories and so many scenes, not even if you were the star of the show!
Although my role was marginal, I had a lot of fun, and it was a wonderful experience, especially educational, which made me understand many things about the timing of recordings and how to stand in front of a camera.
